Please Welcome the New San Diego Smash Staff Members!

San Diego’s community is alive and growing, and to keep up with that, our little blog needs to grow as well. Awex here, to introduce myself and others as new members of the San Diego Smash team!

We each have our own job to do in order to keep the blog well maintained and up-to-date.

Burntsocks and I are in charge of Publicity. We will be updating the blog with any news of upcoming San Diego tournaments, as well as larger regional tournaments within reasonable driving distance of San Diego. We will also be working on designs for the page, and soon we’ll have the proper equipment to record matches and put them on YouTube for everyone to see!

Havok will be working as an Editor here at San Diego Smash. Proofreading articles such as this one as well as writing his own insight on our community and the competitive scene.

MogX is our main Power Rankings Panelist. From now on, he is in charge of taking the tournament results and analyzing them to give us our San Diego Power Rankings, as well as his thoughts on our meta-game and potential as a community to make an impact in the larger tournament scene.

Nyjin is our new writer. He will be writing tournament recaps, player profiles and his own editorials about San Diego Smash. Keeping the blog fresh and new.

Phoenix will be an Intern. Making sure all our information is current and up-to-date, and learning how to manage the blog so he may become an invaluable staff member when the community inevitably grows and we need the help.

So there you have it: The new crew here at San Diego Smash! Look forward to a more vibrant, active blog. We hope to grow into a site with it’s own domain name, and to be the number one resource for San Diegans looking to smash their brothers.
